My IDOL

How many time do we come across a man who is so wise, so charismatic, so fatherly and so kind? I am lucky to come across a few and this one is definitely one that fits all the above. It is really an honour to meet my IDOL a few times a few.

Breakfast at Swensen

We had breakfast at Swensen before Kelly had her music class. The girls love the banana pancaka and the fruit salad.

Cheeky Kerryn

This 17 months old Kerryn likes to surprise us with her creativity, cheekiness and most importantly her million dollar smile!

Chill out

A phone call later, we ended up chilling at Urban Spoon and coincidentally it was their 1st anniversary and there was a party going on. We had beer, yummy Tiramisu and warm lava cake by their very inhouse chef.

Dinner at Chomp Chomp

We have not frequent Chomp Chomp for a while as Kelly and Kerryn were both having cough. We guessed it must have been too long for Kelly that she kept requesting for the nice nice chicken wings. Seeing that both the girls had almost recovered, we brought them for their favourite food. The 2 girls enjoyed grilled chicken wings and satay just as much. Mummy is looking forward to the day when we can all have my favourite grilled sting ray, shells and all other spicy food!

Kerryn self-feed

Kerryn has been showing keen interest on self feeding whenever she eats with us but afraid of the mess, Mummy always insist our helper to feed her. This evening, Kerryn shows disagreement when we do not allow her to self feed and to pleased her, she gets to drink soup on her own after she finishes her rice. Thou her shirt was wet but she did managed to feed herself, great job baby!

Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle

It's been a long while since we last had bak kut teh with the girls and thus we decided to have breakfast on this Sunday morning. Mummy just couldn't resist a good pot of Chinese tea with bak kut teh, the after-rain tea leaves that my Dad bought was just fabulous.

After lunch, we drove to my grand-auntie's pottery jungle, mainly was to visit my aunties and uncles and of course to let them see my 2 precious girls.

Kelly and Kerryn ran around the pottery showroom, looking at people making ceramic pieces, playing on the giantic mould machine and climbing around Singapore's only dragon kiln. My Uncle then brought the 2 girls to the pond to feed the fishes with the freshly baked bread. Kelly enjoyed herself thoroughly, the 2 girls fell asleep the moment they hit the carseat.

Kelly's 1st beansprout

Kelly ran to me with her cup of beansprouts when Mummy went to fetch her from school. She was so excited about the beansprouts and kept telling me that she got to water it everyday.

Happy 45th Birthday, Singapore

Kelly is truly a born and bred Singaporean. She loves the Singapore flag, the National anthem, the National Day songs, anything and everything about Red and White. She loves the Singapore flag flying all around when National Day is near.

Kelly's first sausage lip

Mummy was constantly warning Kelly about not jumping on the mattress afraid that she might fall off the bed and finally the day came this evening. Kelly was happily jumping on the mattress again and the next thing we knew, she was on the floor with a thick and bloody sausage lip.
