March 2009 Mummies gathering

After the injection in the morning, Mummy brought Kerryn to the March mummies gathering at Elyn's place in the afternoon. There were a total of about 30 mummies and 30 babies present. The scene was really 'WOW'. It was fun to see so many babies together at the same time, some crying, some sleeping, some poo-ing, basically, each and every baby is doing something at every moment. This thus made group photo taking impossible.

wonder where is Kerryn? Shes sleeping soundly in the sling...(picture above)

met an old friend at the gathering - Kelly's godma. Kayla is also a March baby, thus she joined the gathering!

Kerryn's 1st injection

Kerryn is 6 weeks old today and will be taking her first 6-in-1 jab. I remembered the first time we bought Kelly to Dr. Yvonne for her first jab, we would just carry her and had the jab at her flabby thigh, she would wailed a bit and thats all. When Kelly was 18 months and had her last prevenar jab, she knew she was going to have an injection and struggled so much that we had to hold her down on both hands and legs. That's the differnce between a 6 weeks old baby and an 18 months old toddler. When is Kerryn going to be 18 months?

Kerryn is 4.7kg at 6 weeks old...

her head circumstance is 39cm...

My 3rd Mothers' Day

This is officially my 3th Mothers' Day and this year is definitely different celebrating with my 2 princesses. We can feel Kelly's presence getting stronger as she grows, we miss her when shes in school, we miss her cheeky smile, her multi expressive face and her non-stop singing when shes not around. We look forward to Kerryn growing up so she can join us in our little conversation.

Kelly insisted on carrying Kerryn to take a picture together...

Kerryn slept throughout the dinner session and we had no choice but to take a picture with her sleeping.

Thank you Kelly and Kerryn for making this Mothers' Day so special!
