Lovely time with Kelly

These few weeks sepent with Kelly alone was really a special and precious one. The 24hrs spent with Kelly involved sweet, sour, bitter and spicy time. Her cheekiness gave us so much unexpected fun but her naughtiness nearly drove Mummy crazy. Despite all the crazy time she gave Mummy, we were still happy for all the happiness she gave us this far and more to come. Love you always, darling!

Chinese New Year Day 5 - afternoon

After lunch with Kelly's Grand-godpapa and Grand-godmama, we headed over to Sentosa to meet Kelly's舅舅and family. Since we were still early, we make a stopover at the Sentosa Flower fair. The fair was really a disappointment, but at least Kelly gets to scream flower, balloon, etc.

Chinese New Year Day 5 - morning

This is the first time Kelly will be visiting her Grand-godpapa and Grand-godmama. These 2 persons are very special persons to Mummy especially Godpapa, he was the one who took care of Mummy since secondary school till now. Mummy being a tyrant in school, having a principal to take care is very important!!! The relationship had grew till now, from a school girl to a Mummy of almost 2, how time flies!

Chinese New Year Day 4

What is Chinese New Year without gambling? This day, we had a group of friends and Mummy's buddy, Kelly's godpapa whom we only see once a year over for dinner, mahjong and card games. Godpapa Chinwei is based in China helping his dad with his business and he only gets to travel back for long holiday during Chinese New Year, other days, he will only drop by for a few days.

Chinese New Year Day 1 - afternoon

We arrived just in time at Ayer Hitam for lunch. Our usual sumptuous spread of steamboat dishes were waiting for us anxiously. It is always very kind of all the elderly to let Mummy be the 1st to eat as we do not like being the 2nd serving.

Mummy was informed that this might be our last Chinese New Year here as the government had confirmed that this area will be collected back and demolished. Although we heard the same things since some 20 years back but now it looks like its for real. Kelly's great-grandmother must be the saddest person of all.

Our last mission of the day was to have dinner with Kelly's公公. Mummy was glad that our family finally had a proper delicious seafood dinner since the reunion dinner was nothing to boast about.
