2010 New Year resolutions

Mummy's New Year resolutions:

1. All in the family to be healthy and stay happy (just like how we are now).

2. Kelly to do well and behave in school (she is already a very good girl, but I guessed it's always not enough).

3. Kerryn to start walking her first baby step and speak her first phase (thou I hate to let her grow up).

4. All our businesses to grow and maintain the good reputation.

5. Daddy to earn more money (can't think of what I am short of yet other than cash...keke).

I guessed the most important thing is still for the family to stay together, happy and healthy!

New Year BBQ @ Sunset Pier

The only good thing after taking over Subset Pier is that we can do anyting we want liked trying out new dishes in the kitchen, inviting friends for BBQ, making coffee and tea non-stop till we became expert, etc.

We invited Benny and Jazqueline to join us in our New Year BBQ. The ambience is good and the wind is cooling making the whole BBQ session enjoyable.

Kerryn is holding her own bottle

At 9 months old, Kerryn is already holding her own milk bottle. She holds her bottle using her 2 hands, even the last feed before she sleeps. It makes taking care of her a breeze.

Evening at Sunset Pier

This is one of the projects that kept us busy for the past 2 weeks. Kelly followed us once in a while to the club after her school.

This was the first time we taught Kelly how to hold the camera and take a proper picture. We were all surprised by the extremely good pictures she took. Below were all the pictures taken by Kelly...

Year End Lunch

We were so tied up this 2 weeks that we totally had no time to plan on where to go for our year end lunch. We ended up at Suki Sushi having a simple ala-carte buffet lunch. Though the lunch was so-so, at least the company was good.

Mummy can't think of anything to buy for my 2 little princesses and decided to get this little teddy bear that can do recording to keep them company when Mummy is not at home.

East Coast Park

It's been a long time since we last visited East Coast Park for dinner. Our plan was to have a sinful dinner - stingray, sotong, lala, gonggong, grilled chicken wing, satay and a bottle of Tiger, before we go down to the beach for a walk.
We were early enough to get the seat overlooking the sea...

Kelly almost finished the whole plate of checken wings...

Kelly took off her shoes and left them on the bench. Enjoying her chicken wings and satay totally...

Mummy loves these 2 pictures taken...

Kerryn loves to stand

Kerryn is really so lovable. Her cry, her crawl, her whine, her tantrum, her golden hair, the way she stand and all about her is just simply so lovely. We just can't get enough of her, always wanting to hug her, kiss her and shower her with all our love. We were fortunate that Kelly loves Kerryn just as much as we do.

Our little monster!

A busy Saturday

Kelly is so into singing and dancing that Mummy decided to start her on a music class. Mummy prefers those that introduces keyboard, musical notes, singing and dancing rather than those baby musical class that Kelly already is attending in school now.

Yamaha only takes in kids from 3 years old onwards and finally we found Christofori that offers Baby Mozart from 18months onwards. Without much choice, we went for the trial class. Kelly was overjoyed when she knew she was going for a music class, she can't stop asking when will she reach, where is the music class, etc. When she reached the centre, she happily climbed onto the piano chair to sit, wanting so much to lay her fingers on the keyboard but was rejected by the teachers. We walked away 5 minutes after the class started because what they taught was basically singing and running around with the toys given, not interesting and educating at all. What a big disappointment!

Kelly on the piano chair...

Since its still early, we asked if Kelly wanted to have McDonald's or Ikea breakfast and she gladly choosed Ikea breakfast and off we went to Tampines. Before reaching the carpark, there is a donation drive by Salvation Army and Kelly generously dropped some money in to share with the needy people.

Compassionate Kelly...

Since Giant is just a stone throw away, we dropped by to see if there is anything we need. Usually we will leave with a trolley full of things even though we have no intention to get anything.

Kelly loves sitting in the trolley!
