Happy Birthday, Daddy!

We had a by-invitation-only birthday dinner with my Daddy today and Kelly was the only one invited other than my brother and myself. We went to a live seafood restaurant by the sea for an all seafood meal and the dinner was added with surprise by the unexpected firework. Kelly was the only lucky one who managed to take a picture with my Daddy as I forgot to ask the waitress to help us take a family picture. Dad was very happy with the birthday present that we had choosen for him. We were all happy too because it took the 3 of us almost a whole day to choose the correct Rolex for my picky Dad!

Kerryn's 2nd durian attempt

After Kerryn vomitted on her first durian adventure, Mummy decided to let her have a second try. When she first saw the durian, she tried to grab out of curiosity but when I put the durian right in front of her mouth, she in stantly turned away. Despite a few attempts, she still continued eating her blueberries and finally when she finished her blueberries, she decided to give durian a try. After the first try, she asked for more!!! Mummy was extremely happy because durian is one of our favourite fruits and how can any of our family members don't like it?

Kelly's 2nd MRT ride

Kelly's first MRT ride was when she was only 8 months old, we had Christmas dinner at Park Mall and brought her on a one stop ride as we did not want to drive into Orchard due to the heavy jam. Today, Mummy decided to bring her on a ride to Orchard to meet up with her舅舅for breakfast and also to buy a present for our Daddy, Kelly's公公. She was so excited from the time we left home all the way till she reached Orchard and can't stop asking for a train ride again. She did not mind the walking at all. She asked me very funny yet logical questions on the train, she asked, ' how come everyone is sleeping and why is the train always stopping?' She then said, 'Mummy, I like MRT train, can you ask Daddy buy one home?' This question just sent everyone laughing.


After breakfast at MacDonald's, we went walk walk looking for a suitable present and not long after, Kelly said she was hungry and we went Crystal Jade for lunch. This trip was fruitful as we managed to cover several chores liked buying a long overdue present for Kelly's Daddy, present for Kelly's公公 and Kelly's long awaited MRT ride.We love the present we bought for our Daddy, shall show a picture on his birthday blog! On our way back, we saw the courtesy lion at Dhoby Ghaut station and Kelly insisted on taking a picture with it!
