Kaithlyn turns 2 years old

Since we were running late after the milkathon, we decided to go direct to Kaithlyn's birthday party in our smelly sporty attire, pass her the present and make a move. Just when we were about to leave, Shirley and her 2 girls reached and under must persuasion from Shirley and Kelley (Kaithlyn's mummy), and most importantly Kelly's reluctant to leave, we stayed on. It was fun for Kelly and myself as I catch up with some friends whom I did not get to meet for the past 2-3 years and Kelly got her hands on hitting the pinata but of course she gave away all the candies and chocolates.

Mamil Milkathon

Cynthia, Cassandra, Serene and myself signed Ryan, Tessa, Shernise and Kelly up for the Mamil Milkathon wanting to let the kids gather together for a good workout on a Saturday morning. On the day itself, only the 3 girls turned up because Ryan was still recovering from his very bad cough. We reached Big Splash slightly late but till 1 hour later, the walk still did not took place and we decided to go Old Town for breakfast. After breakfast, we came back to the gathering point where children dancing, magic show, story telling were going on, Kelly enjoyed herself totally!

Dinner at Serangoon Garden

We had the intention of bringing Kelly out for dinner, just the 3 of us without Kerryn. After picking Kelly from school, we asked her what she wanted to eat and she replied her all time favourite food - chicken wing, so off to Chomp Chomp we went. Just like mummy, Kelly loves coconut to the max! Looking forward to the day when we can have our own coconut tree in the garden!!!

Music trial at Siempi

Thanks to Cynthia who helped Kelly signed up this music trial at Siempi with Ryan. Kelly and Ryan enjoyed themselves and Kelly was totally excited over playing piano. After the trial, Mummy was determined to sign Kelly up for music lessons but not with this school.

Playdate at Suping's

I guessed we got a hang over gathering the children at someone's place. Today we met up at Suping's place and the highlight was dumpling. Really appreciated Suping for queueing up for over an hour just to get the famous Joo Chiat dumpling for us and also the delicious fried rice which all the adults and children had for lunch. We were all impressed by the amount of toys Dexter has, if its not more, it should be equvalent to any childcare in Singapore.

Kerryn likes to read

Kelly does not show any sign of interest in reading since young but Kerryn on the other hand, likes to read. Most of the evenings, she will bring her cloth book to me and sit down in front of me, waiting for me to read the story to her. At times, she will just sit on her basket and read her own book!
