Shekinah Montessori - Term 1 Lesson 3

It's been a while since we last attended class as Daddy was busy for the past few weekends. Kelly is still as crazy about her singing and dancing session. At the start of the music, she will dance and shake non-stop, although it wasn't what Teacher Liana was dancing but Mummy was still happy to see Kelly trying hard to imitate and of the course the most important is that she enjoyed herself.

For practical session, we worked with the beads threading and wooden cylinder again. Kelly knew that she got to get her own material from the shelf and work on the mat. We first worked on threading and this time, Kelly can thread and pull the string through without much help. She went to collect a set of cylinder and placed the tray on the mat. After which she took out the cylinder and placed them beside the tray before placing them back again. Mummy believed that children do know how to repeat some actions after a few times of demo. Good job Kelly!

Working on threading to improve eyes and hands coordination...

Notice all the cylinders are on the mat!!!

Cooking Sunday

Kelly is still not feeling too well with blocked nose and a bit of bleeding now and then. After another visit to the doctor on Friday, we were told to wait for our ENT appointment on 21 August 2008 to go into detailed scanning to find the root of the bleeding. It is no doubt worrying but we try our best to look on the bright side hoping it is just a wound in the nostril that caused the bleed.

Since its a Sunday, we brought Kelly out for lunch at Ikea and followed by a shopping trip to Giant to shop for our Mushroom steamboat ingredients. We had been having different kinds of steamboat for the past one week and all turned out to be super yummy! Who needs restaurant when you have a super chef at home??!
