Kelly turns 3 @ home
The Elmo cake was for cake cutting when the whole group arrived. The sad thing was we forgot to take a group picture. Thank you uncle and aunty for the bread maker and sushi maker, Kelly will be sure to make some for you all one of these days!
Kelly turns 3 @ Carpe Diem
Our darling Kelly and us.
Teacher Alina gathered the whole Nursery 1 to sing the birthday song for Kelly and Abby. Abby's birthday was supposed to be on Saturday but her mummy decided to hold her birthday party with Kelly. Of course Kelly's mummy does not like the idea but since we only knew about it when we reached school, I guessed we do not have any choice at all.
Luckily Kelly got a bigger cake and her cake was shared with the classmates during the party, whereas the other smaller cake was kept for tea time or maybe to be given away to other classes to eat.
Kelly helped to distribute the cake and drink to her friends and teachers, but halfway through, she decided that she should sit down to eat her cake and drink her soya bean and that was when Mummy found her missing. The children returned to their resepctive classes after eating their cake, drinking their soya bean and receiving their goodie bag. A party well done!

农历生日
There are always reasons and occasions to celebrate. After the English birthday celebrations, comes the Chinese birthday celebration. We were lucky that the girls' 农历生日are just a day apart due to the闰月.
When my Mother was alive, she never failed to prepare a delicious bowl of 面线on my birthday since as long as I can remember but as she passed away, I stopped having that 4 years ago. A promise I made to my children was, for as long as I am around, they will get a delicious bowl of面线on their农历生日.
It is an enjoyment seeing hubby and children enjoying the food I cooked. The satisfaction came from Kelly's praises when she says, 'Mummy, I like the food you cooked.' I can't wait for Kerryn to tell me the same thing.
