Kelly at Ikea

Since Kelly started going to full day playgroup, Mummy and Daddy only go out with Kelly on weekends. The best place to bring Kelly to is still Ikea. After breakfast, she can run around the entire place and consume all her energy before going home.

Kelly normally enjoys her breakfast especially now she is self-feeding, she gets to choose what she wants and don't want to eat.

After we are done with breakfast, we take a slow walk around Ikea. This is a time for curious Kelly to explore. She plays with practically everything from containers to carpets to pots to flowers, and this week, her toy is the pillow near checkout conter.
Kelly had her first pair of slipper from Cerisi.

We just love the way Kerryn sleep, she is just so gentle, so sweet, so cute and so sexy! Kerryn continued to nap a while more after her morning milk feed before she shower.

Kerryn's 8 weeks injection

Kerryn took her 1st Pneumococcal injection and rotavirus vaccine today. Daddy and Mummy are strong believers of immunisations when it concerns baby's health. We will take all the vaccines available so as to bring down the probability of baby falling sick to the lowest possible.

We had lunch at Swensens before visiting the doctor. Kerryn was quietly sitting in her stroller while we were eating.

All vaccine visits come with growth assessment including weight taking, height and head circumference measurement to ensure there is growth.

Kerryn is 5kg at week 8...

rotavirus is not too difficult though, just have to make baby drink some live bacteria...

injection is the heartache part...

OUCH!

A Good Problem

After being a diligent dutch lady for 2 months, our freezer and chest freezer are both full and totally no space for anymore storage. The only way to make the fullest use of the precious breastmilk is to let Kelly bring 2 bottles to school everyday for her consumption. This also means that Mummy can officially close my moo-moo factory soon.

Kerryn loves to sit

We will bring Kerryn into our room every evening to play with her and to keep her awake till about 8:30pm so that she can sleep through the night after her milk feed. After lying down on the bed the whole day, Kerryn prefers to sit while enjoying our family time.

April 2009 Mummies @ Earle Swensen

We had a super big April 2009 Mummies and babies lunch gathering this afternoon at Vivocity, Earle Swensen. A total of 20 mummies, 18 babies, 5 toddlers and 3 hubbies turned up. We definitely got lots of curious stare from the restaurant patrons.

Kerryn lied down quietly on the chair when Mummy was eating and chit chatting with my friends and she just looked around curiously without disturbing.

Fengping carrying Kerryn...

Its Rose's birthday today and the restaurant surprised her with a slice of birthday cake.

Smiley Kerryn

Kerryn is especially cheerful early in the morning after her 1st feed. The interval between her last feed before she sleeps and first feed when she wakes up is usually about 10 hours. Kerryn sleeps through the night much earlier than Kelly at 8 weeks old whereas Kelly slept through at 4th month till now.

Kerryn is such an easy baby to take care, she cry only when hungry, don't need to be carried, play on her own when awake and falls back asleep without fuss.

Mummy has been lucky that though both 9 months pregnancy were super-duper tough, but the bringing up of our 2 princesses is a breeze this far.
