Genting - Day 2 evening

We headed back to the indoor theme park to satisfy Kelly after satisfying our stomach. It was another round of Ferris wheel, Reindeer cruiser float around First World Plaza, Carousel, Rio Float in the air and not forgetting to mention that we had a few rides of each and I guessed we should have ride on the horses for at least 20 times!

We had steamboat for dinner, although it was taken indoor and the selection wasn't good, but the convenient thing was that, it is located in the indoor theme park and that means we can bring Kelly to her horse ride whenever she's bored.

Right after dinner, Kelly screamed for sweet potato again! She remembered that the store was closed by the time we reached and I think having hot sweet potato in the cold weather is a must for her. With our reluctant stomach, we still went for sweet potato treat. While all the other stores were closed, we were lucky to find the sweet potato stall's light still on and the luckiest thing was, the guy actually went to change before closing the stall and the delay in 5 minutes actually won us some time. Needless to say, Kelly was overjoyed when holding the sweet potato in her hand. We were happy that our 2 kids enjoyed the sweet potato moment together!

Genting - Day 2 afternoon

An afternoon tea or rather Hot Chocolate (Steamed milk + Chocolate sticks) and Latte is a must for the Yee's family Genting trip else the vacation will be incomplete. This is especially so with Kelly just turned 3 years old few days ago. Now that she gets a whole glass of hot steamed milk and chocolate sticks to herself, she got a whole lot of fun drinking milk, eating chocolate and combining them into hot chocolate.

While enjoying all the fun, our little Kerryn was sound asleep in Daddy's hug and needless to say, Daddy enjoyed the moment tremendously.

A cup of hot latte while enjoying the drizzle and cold misty weather with my family must be one of the most fortunate moments we can ask for.

Mummy's philosophy of not too much chocolate was executed in a fun and loving way. Kelly and Mummy shared the remaining chocolate sticks that she was reluctant to turn into hot chocolate milk and of course we had fun doing so!

Genting - Day 2 morning

Immediately after breakfast, we brought Kelly to the indoor theme park as we can see that for any minute of delay in bringing her, there will be another round of nagging from her, that's how persistent our Kelly is, especially when it's playtime.

This time we were lucky because with just 2 adults passes, Kelly and Kerryn gets to ride for free but I guessed Kelly might have to get her own child pass the next time we come. No doubt the first ride she rushed to upon reaching the theme park was the carousel, we took 2 rides before heading to the Vernice Gondola ride for a romantic cruise.

When Kelly got a bit tired after all the walking and running around, she will get to rest for a while by sharing a seat in Kerryn's stroller and this actually attracted a lot of attention from passerby, they were amazed at how the stroller can fit 2 children.

Ferris wheel was another highlight for Kelly, she just loved being on top of the world, hope this applies to her life philosopy too. One new ride that we had was the capillary train ride, it was a ride that bring us through the whole Forst World Plaza and outdoor theme park too. This caterpillar ride will be one of the must-do rides on Kelly's list.

Genting - Day 1

Since our last visit to Genting last year, Kelly had been bugging us non-stop for Genting, ride horse, ferris wheel and sweet potato. To grant her wish and also to spend a different birthday with Daddy, we decided to make a trip.

The 400km drive wasn't a difficult one as Daddy and Mummy took turn to drive, Kelly was relatively alright just that she talked, sang and asked questions non-stop but Kerryn was a different story. She can't sit too long in the carseat and she needed someone to play with her, we were lucky that Kelly was with us in the car!

The mist was heavy when we reached Genting and the temperature was only 18 degree, that was a rare occasion where the weather will be so cold in the afternoon. While waiting to check in, there were some performances going on and the 2 girls ran around the lobby with joy!

After checking in, we took a short rest and Kelly kept saying, 'I can't wait to go out!' That left us with not much choice but to bring her out for a walk while looking for our dinner too. Kelly was fascinated when she reached the indoor theme park. It took us a long while to convince her that we will be back the next day for all the rides.

After dinner, we went outdoor for a stroll while Kelly asked for her favourite sweet potato but unfortunately, the stall was closed and we just have to try our luck tomorrow.
