Dinner with A Family

Although A family stays just 2 doors away but it's been a long while since we last met. Mainly because Ally is pregnant and we are busy with the upcoming business. We made it a point to have dinner together before Ally deliver and also to see how much Aaron had grown.

The 2 kids had fun playing cars, eating yogurt and watching cartoon on PSP.

April 2009 Mummies X'mas Party

A lot of people must be wondering why are we celebrating X'mas so early? The reason is Pei and family are flying back to England for X'mas the following week. A total of 7 babies and 2 toddlers attended the party. Thank you Audrey for baking the ginger breadman for the kids.

The 2 engrossed daddies watching soccer and carrying their sleeping babies.

Daddy took a picture with his 2 lovely princesses.

Look at the tailored made costume on Kerryn! She just looks so beautiful with her snowy white skin.

Kerryn is struggling to stand now. She will try to hold on to anything and everything to stand up.

Kerryn and Mummy, do we look alike?

Just simply can't resist her look...

My proud work

The X'mas party is tomorrow and the art piece is finally done. Mummy is so proud of the work. Each and every thread were all hand sewed and if you wonder why the feather is pink instead of white, that is the uniqueness. If its white, it can be found everywhere. The size, the length and everything was made to fit Kerryn. Mummy is so proud of the work.

Dinner with my secondary school friends

Mummy met up with my secondary school friends for dinner at Plaza Singapura this evening. Since I arrived early, I went Daiso and Spotlight for a walk hoping to find a suitable x'mas outfit for Kerryn. The readily available costumes were all oversized and its sure to look ugly on Kerryn. Out of impulse, Mummy bought the 2 items below, wanting to hand sew a customised costume for Kerryn. Good luck!

Felt cloth and pink feather!

Kerryn's 1st tooth

Finally after 2 months of struggling, the little tiny white pearlie decided to appear. These 2 months was agony to all of us as Kerryn can wakes up to a maximum of 4 times a night for water. The gum must be super duper itchy and painful.

The first pearlie was the one of the lower left side and the second one was on the lower right side.

Swimming at 1d15

The school is closed today due to the concert yesterday thus we brought Kelly for a good bak kut teh lunch followed by a swim in the borderless pool.

When we reached the club, the sun was so hot that Mummy decided to bring Kelly to the indoor playroom while Daddy goes to the gym. We just like visting the club on weekday as there are lesser people and Kelly was the only child in the playroom, she had all the toys to herself and Mummy can lay down to watch 'Tom and Jerry'!

Kelly in the playhouse and in the ball pool alone...

Kelly and Mummy on the see-saw...

Since it's the afternoon sun, we reckoned that we will not be able to wait till there is no sun before we step out of the airconditioned room, hence we changed and off we went to the jacuzzi pool.

Kelly loves the bubble in the jacuzzi pool!

Mummy and Daddy took turns to swim in the lap pool while taking care of Kelly. After a while, Kelly decided to join us at the lap pool.

Kelly enjoyed herself totally!

Kelly's first School Concert

We attended Kelly's first concert today at Nanyang Girls' High School. The concert was scheduled to start at 1500hrs and we arrived 15mins passed 1500hrs, just in time to settle down and enjoy Kelly's performance. The sight of your little one dancing and singing on stage is a very weird feeling. Its a mixture of happiness, satisfaction and fulfilment, tears nearly rolled out of my eyes.

The first song Kelly performed was 听妈妈的话 by Jay Chou. I was surprised when the school selected this song few months back as this is a rap. But after a few months of practise, the kids really managed to sing and dance the song well.

The second song was 爱. Daddy and Mummy simply love the makeup on Kelly. She look so pretty in her pink headband and her pink flowery dress.

The toddlers were allowed to leave during the break. We took a picture with Kelly's Chinese and English teachers.

We took more pictures of Kelly when we reached home as this might be the only time that Mummy allowed makeup on Kelly's smooth silky face, afraid that it might hurt her complexion.

Family dinner out

Kelly has been wanting to go out for the whole day, so Daddy suggested that we go out for dinner. We like going to Bliss with the 2 kids, though the food is normal but the environment is quiet and calm, the best part is after dinner, we can go to the park for a walk.

All of us before dinner...

Kelly was delighted when the food came. There was her favourite french fries, cherry tomatoes, corns and fish.

Our dinner...

Mummy snatched the opportunity to take pictures with our 2 princesses before dinner.

Kerryn was such a deary, she fell asleep in the stroller the moment we started eating. Kelly just can't stop eating and drinking soup the moment the food arrived.
Kelly enjoying her food and soup...

Just when we finished dinner and was about to walk to the park, our darling Kerryn woke up. We took a slow walk to the park to find a good spot to sit down.

Kelly insisted that we took a picture of her...

Sweetie Kelly!

Kerryn started saying words

From a newborn who only knew how to drink, sleep, drink and sleep, now Kerryn starts to interact with us. She is able to call for our attention by screaming when we pass by her room, able to laugh loudly when she's happy and of course able to pout her mouth when she's not pleased. The biggest milestone that she reached at slightly less than 8 months is being able to say, 'nan nan nan nan' when she's hungry and able to call, 'ma ma ma ma' when she see Mummy, what can be more fulfilling than hearing your own kid call MAMA?

Another thing Kerryn is capable of doing now is clapping her hands after she sat up on her own, to show that she is a clever girl. After 2 months of sleepless nights, the small pearlies finally cutted through her itchy gum. Currently she had 1 on top and 1 below, can see that all others are on standby, waiting for their turn to cut through.

Kelly's first Meet-The-Parent Session

This is Mummy's and Kelly's first Meet-The-Parent session. Although Kelly is less than 3 years old, it is a routine that teachers need to let parents know the child's progress and their daily activities. As expected, teachers commented that Kelly had progress tremendously, especially on her language. From zero knowledge of Chinese when she first joined the school, after a short 3 weeks, Kelly can speak, understand and sing Chinese songs.

Just before we left, we were given the concert tickets for this coming Wednesday.
