Gynae Appointment at 36 weeks 3 days

Another routine weekly check up at Dr. Adrian's clinic gave us an unexpected surprise. Dr. revealed that baby's head is still on the right side of Mummy's tummy and the possibility of baby not turning down is 99% since we are closed to 37 weeks. Dr. suggested that Mummy goes for c-sect anytime before 3 April 2009 in order to avoid any complication just in case contractions come or water bag burst first before baby’s head is engaged, that would means an emergency c-sect which would be dangerous for both Mummy and baby.

It has never crossed my mind to have a c-sect for delivery and this news was a shock to both Daddy and Mummy. We can’t decide on whether to head Dr.’s advice or to wait for 1 more week and see if baby decides to be cooperative.

Mummy called up friends who had gone through c-sect to get advices and the only good thing we know is that, through c-sect, we can choose the date and time that we want baby to be out and things will be more organised n prepared. C-sect to Mummy is just so unnatural, thinking on the day, Mummy bring along a luggage bag and check into TMC, waiting for baby to be out in 5mins, doesn’t it looks like a holiday??!
