Easter Day

Easter day is just another public holiday for us since we are free thinker. Early in the morning, Kelley, Shirley and myself took a cab to Expo for the yearly Mother and Baby Fair. We meet up with Augleo for dessert while waiting for the fair to start. The 3 packs of free Huggies with 1-year magazine subscription drew us to the long queue. Another attraction of the fair is of course Nestle since we are their supporter. Bought 3 tins of brown rice cereal, apple and cranberry cereal, wheat and honey cereal, 4 bottles of Gerber puffs, 4 tins of Nan 3, etc - all for my princess. Its the first time Mummy buy and carry so many things without Daddys present and it will never happen again.

Evening we went over to Lilian place at Park Green Condo for BBQ. Little Kelly came along and together with us are Nicholas Gor Gor and Stella Mei Mei. Stella is only 5 months old but she look so adult and Ang Mo with big round eyes. Although Kelly did not get to try the BBQ food, she did try Kuih Tupak and fried Bee Hoon.

Kelly in Mummys clothes

Notice the cute and a bit out-of-fashion (only a bit ahhh) top that Kelly is wearing? Mummy wore it some 20 years ago. Thanks to Por Por for kepping it so well till she left and Mummy took over in the safe keeping. This top brings a lot of joy and memory to Mummy and Xiao Jiu Jiu when we were young. We will play at the back seat with this top while Gong Gong is driving and that normally leads to puishment for making too much giggles and noise.

Our First Family Potrait

Kelly is turning 10 months old tomorrow, so we decided to take our family studio pictures today as Daddy is busy tomorrow. It is not easy getting our moody princess for studio shoot. She does not like stranger and getting her to smile is even harder. We had a hard and tiring time getting her into the mood. Luckily the pictures turn out a lot better than we expected.

Lunar Day 3

Early in the morning we are at the Singapore Zoo, along with us are Uncle Bernard, Auntie Serene and Shernice. It is Kellys and Shernice first trip to the Zoo. We thought we might have the zoo to ourselves but we are wrong, the wrong place is filled with lion dances, tourists, families and lots of people. Despite all, the trip is fun and tiring.

Lunar Day 2

On Lunar Day 2, we went to Kwan Yin temple to pray pray and walk walk. The crowd is scary, we almost can't make our way in especially with Kelly but in the end, we still managed to make our way in for donation and flower offering. We pray that Kelly will grow up healthy and stay happy forever.

Lunar Day 1

Kelly woke up early in the morning as if she knew it is Lunar Day 1, she got her 1st Ang Bao from Mummy and Daddy before we head off to Malaysia for visits. Our first stop is my Grandma place, which is Kellys Great-Grandma in Air Hitam, it felt so good to be here on CNY coz fire crackers are lighting everywhere and gambling sound is everywhere. The only different is my mum is not around. After 2 rounds of steamboat, we headed to pray my mum, it is also the first time Kelly meet her Grandmother. Our last stop is of course my Dads place. We stay there for a long while and came back after dinner. Kelly is sooooo tired.

Lunar New Year Eve = Mummy birthday

Today is Lunar New Year eve and also mummy bday. It felt so nice to receive not a kiss but 2 kisses early in the morning. Early in the morning, we left home for Chinatown. We had dim sum at one of the coffeeshop as there wasn't much option. After breakfast, we walk through the busy streets and as usual, i bought lots of Taiwan jelly, peanuts, candies, etc. After we are done with Chinatown, we proceed to Punggol Plaza, NTUC and wet market to get the ingredients for Daddy wanna cook a big feast for all of us. We had black pepper crab, steam fish, drunken prawn, vegetables, etc and of course my favoruite Cordon Blue for our 1st reunion dinner with our precious princess, Kelly. Having a little one around is indeed different, although Kelly can only eat her porridge but the smell is enough to make her food delicious.
