Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle

It's been a long while since we last had bak kut teh with the girls and thus we decided to have breakfast on this Sunday morning. Mummy just couldn't resist a good pot of Chinese tea with bak kut teh, the after-rain tea leaves that my Dad bought was just fabulous.

After lunch, we drove to my grand-auntie's pottery jungle, mainly was to visit my aunties and uncles and of course to let them see my 2 precious girls.

Kelly and Kerryn ran around the pottery showroom, looking at people making ceramic pieces, playing on the giantic mould machine and climbing around Singapore's only dragon kiln. My Uncle then brought the 2 girls to the pond to feed the fishes with the freshly baked bread. Kelly enjoyed herself thoroughly, the 2 girls fell asleep the moment they hit the carseat.

Kelly's 1st beansprout

Kelly ran to me with her cup of beansprouts when Mummy went to fetch her from school. She was so excited about the beansprouts and kept telling me that she got to water it everyday.

Happy 45th Birthday, Singapore

Kelly is truly a born and bred Singaporean. She loves the Singapore flag, the National anthem, the National Day songs, anything and everything about Red and White. She loves the Singapore flag flying all around when National Day is near.

Kelly's first sausage lip

Mummy was constantly warning Kelly about not jumping on the mattress afraid that she might fall off the bed and finally the day came this evening. Kelly was happily jumping on the mattress again and the next thing we knew, she was on the floor with a thick and bloody sausage lip.

Happy Birthday Jacqueline and Audrey

6 families got together for a BBQ session cum the celebration of advance birthday for Jacqueline and belated birthday for Audrey, we only got to now it was Wayne's birthday yesterday and so he got to post with the 2 fabulous Mummies! The gathering was great because while the mummies were chatting, the daddies were either busy preparing the food or taking care of the little ones. We look forward to our next ladies night!

Girls night out

There were supposed to be a total of 7 girls and 1 boy for our usual gathering but in the end only Eunice, Grace, Jiayan and myself managed to make it. We had Spanish food for dinner, our starters were corn chips and grilled chicken wings and our main was Paella con Mariscons. In the midst of our dinner, Universal Studio which was just a stone throw away suddenly had firwork and that certainly adds on to our already romantic dinner with live band. After dinner, we proceed to Max Brenner Chocolate Bar for Suckao before resting for the night.

Ladies Night

Can't recall the last time I went out with ladies only as all my groups of friends are a mixture of male and female. Audrey, Jacqueline and I went for dinner at Chinatown famous porridge and proceed to this pub to chill and sing karaoke till midnight. A great night out and more to come!

Kelly's 1st music class

It wasn't the first class of her music class but this is officially the first music lesson that Kelly is attending. Kelly loves her music class to bits but not so for Mummy because there were always so much things to do, colouring, cutting and sticking, etc but I guess all were worth it when she presents her proud work to the teacher.

Another baluku for Kerryn

The 2 girls were playing when suddenly I heard a loud bang followed by Kerryn's crying. Kerryn got another baluku but luckily not as big as the previous one on her forehead. This time round, I remembered to capture the baluku with my camera.

Kelly's 1st ballet class

Mummy signed Kelly up for the ballet class after the trial class that she totally enjoyed but things didn't turned up quite well at the first lesson. Kelly was frightened by the overwhelming non-whites in the class. She insisted on joining back the trial class that she had attended but that class will be graduating soon so no way for her to join them. It took us quite a long while to convince her to give it another try the following week and see if she likes it, else we will withdraw her from the class.
