Heaven-sent Hubby

This second pregancy is in no way easier than the first one. Nausea for the first trimester, that is whole of 3 months. Hoping that second trimester will be better after nausea is gone, but headache and backache came knocking immediately. Every night, Mummy end up with achy head and back waiting for Kelly to massage. Though not very effective, but the thought and touch is great.

Luckily, Mummy has a hubby sent from heaven. Daddy has been my greatest support for the two pregancies. His diligent massage almost every night, having to eat the same food for 2-3 times a week to suit my craving, etc. It would be impossible without this wonderful hubby and our loviest Kelly!

Dim Sum at Red Star Restaurant

After 4 months of staying at home, Mummy is now more ready to go to places further away. Our further away refers to any place out of Sengkang and Punggol. Our usual planned trip to town or even Parkway Parade will normally ended up with a quick breakfast or lunch and with Mummy not feeling well, we will be on our way home.

At last, now we can travel to Chinatown for dim sum, its a great milestone reached. The food served is not really great but Daddy being cantonese, we just like the atmosphere with aunties pushing the food around while calling out loud, 'siew mai, har gao, char siew bao'. Only eating at this kind of restaurant will you feel you are really having dim sum. Kelly is an authentical Chinese who loves Chinese Tea and Chysanthemum Tea since baby.

Happy 18 months old Kelly

Mummy always tell friends that she hope Kelly will not grow up so fast so that we can enjoy her company forever but thats a silly thought. As Kelly grow, she brings with her lots of excitement, surprises and of course happiness to us.

Every morning, when she open her eyes, she will call, Mama, hello, morning with a kiss. Every night before she sleep, she will say, Mama, night night with a wet kiss without fail. The actions alway melt Mummy's heart with no doubt.

On this special day, Daddy decided to cook crab porridge for Kelly since she normally eat chicken, pork and fish. Yummy...

IKEA again

We made a trip to Ikea for breakfast and also to try our luck on the table and chair. To our disappointment, it is still out of stock. Looks like we really got to go Ikea every week to hunt.

Mummy's favourite hangout NOW - Ikea

After pregnant for 3 months, other than our home, the most frequent place that we hangout is at Ikea. It is near and spacious for Kelly to run around. We go there almost once a week for breakfast. We had been trying for the past 2 weeks to get a table and chair set for Kelly but it is still out of stock, what a long wait.

OSCAR Scan at week 11

Daddy and Mummy went for my scan today at Thomson Medical. As second time parents, we were not as excited as compared to Kelly's time. After waited for 30mins, Mummy was asked to lie down and the sonographer proceed to scan the baby. The scan shows that the baby has very pointed nose and very long legs, baby was kicking and waving non-stop for the 20mins. The sight of baby brings back some excitement into parenthood again. We look forward to seeing baby again at our 20 week detailed scan. Hopefully we will be able to know whether Kelly is expecting a didi or meimei.

Right Brain - Term 1 Lesson 8

We actually planned to defer the rest of the classes till Mummy is feeling better but seeing that Kelly enjoys her class so much, Mummy still tries to make it. Kelly is more interested in interactive sessions like dancing and singing rather than sitting down. It is a challenge getting her to sit still for 15mins.
